Peer Tutor is an undergraduate student who:
- Demonstrates outstanding academic performance in the subject area(s) qualified to tutor.
- Is a sophomore, junior or senior student.
- Earned a B+ or better in those courses to be tutored.
- Earned an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher.
Supplemental Instructor is an undergraduate or graduate student who:
- Demonstrates outstanding academic performance in the subject area(s) qualified to tutor.
- Is a junior, senior or graduate student.
- Earned a B+ or better in those courses to be tutored.
- Earned an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Preferably has tutoring experience.
- Receives a direct recommendation from a professor for the position.
Peer Academic Coach is an upper level undergraduate or graduate tutor hired to focus on supporting success skills in students. Coaches will work with students in topics like time management, note taking, study strategies and more.
- Demonstrates outstanding academic performance.
- A student who has earned at least 90 credits.
- Earned an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher.
Red Hawks Rising Success Coach is a role that takes some academic tutoring and some academic coaching skills to provide Dual Enrollment students support as they transition from their high school career to college classes. These staff are asked to:
- Earned an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Be able to commute to their scheduled high school.
- Have good group and classroom management skills.
